This week we have been learning about creatures in our natural environment like insects and birds. We have been learning how to care for them. You showed a wooden bird house you already had at home. We decided to make a bird feeder. In our Inquiry lesson yesterday, we learnt how to make a bird feeder out of juice or milk carton and water or milk bottle. I showed you my bird feeder.
Mrs Jalili's bird feederToday, you not only made your own bird feeder explaining the process so well but also completed your writing task. You even reminded us that we need to always start our sentence with a Capital or Uppercase letter, and put a Full Stop at the end of our sentence.
You have shown a great example of how Manaiakalani pedagogy of "Learn", "Create", "Share" puts you at the very centre of your own learning. I am very proud of you. Keep up your great learning. Ka pai.
